Citizens of the most CIS countries do not need visa to enter Azerbaijan (except Turkmenistan).

Citizens of Turkey, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia and Singapore has simplified visa procedure. The visa is granted upon arrival at the Baku International Airport named after H.Aliyev. You need to fill in the Application form (provided at the airport), provide 2 passport photos and pay USD 10$ fee (for Turkish citizens), USD 40$ (for Israeli citizens) and USD 20$ for other citizens.

Citizens of other countries need to obtain visa before travelling to Azerbaijan.

Tourist VISA\ E-VISA

Tourist Electronic Visa is issued for single entry only, valid for 30 days, period of stay equals period of hotel booking.

Urgent service

Urgent service (2-3 working days) can be provided by World Travel as well. Prices depend on the Country of the citizenship and available upon request.

Business Visa

Business Visa is issued for single entry (double entry is possible only if the purposes for both visits can be proved)

Valid for 3 months with 30 days maximum period of stay. One should have the Visa Support Letter (VSL) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan when applying for this type of visa. The approval process takes 30 days. Approved VSL is faxed-mailed by MFA directly to the relevant Consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan where the visa is to be obtained.
Consideration of documents at the embassies can take from 10 to 14 working days (please check with the relevant diplomatic missions)
Important: : Due to the new visa system (from January 2021) all applicants should apply to the Consulate in person to provide their fingerprints and biometric photos.
